About Paul Schreiber
Paul grew up in the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York, worked and attended graduate school in Washington D.C., and found his way to Maine where he and his wife, Becki, lived for thirty years and raised their two wonderful daughters. Paul and Becki retired in 2013 and now reside in North Carolina, where Paul continues to pursue his love of photography.
Paul has been interested in photography for over forty years, but his passion for this medium of expression has truly developed over the past fifteen years. “Photography has enriched and expanded my visual perception of the world. There is so much more to experience when you slow down and take the time to truly look and see the people and things you encounter throughout the course of everyday life.”
Paul is an active member of the Cape Fear Camera Club and formerly a long-standing member of the Portland Camera Club. He has been the recipient of many competitive awards, and his work has been displayed in a number of galleries in Maine and North Carolina. Paul’s photographic subjects vary, but tend to center on nature, abstract, macro, and scenes from everyday life.
